Turning a Rough Fintech Idea into a Build Plan
MVP scoping, 69-parameter architecture, and PRD/Figma handoff for an AI stock screener
01 Status
PRD / spec handoff - cancelled post-handoff
The PRD, parameter architecture, and Figma prototype were completed and handed to engineering. The project was later cancelled due to an external API issue. There is no shipped product, production usage, or analyst adoption claim.
02 Summary
Capital Collective was a PRD and spec handoff project for an AI-powered stock screener.
The challenge was to turn a complex investment analysis workflow into a clear MVP, parameter architecture, and prototype direction for a 3-person engineering team.
I defined the MVP, mapped 69 financial parameters across three tiers, wrote the PRD, and delivered Figma prototypes as a dev handoff. The project was cancelled post-handoff due to an external API issue.
03 Problem
The challenge was to turn a broad stock screener idea into a clear product direction for investment analysis workflows.
That meant structuring the screening logic, defining which financial parameters mattered first, and translating complex analysis needs into an MVP that engineering could work from.
04 My Role
- MVP scopingNarrowed a broad stock screener idea into a defined MVP scope.
- 69-parameter architectureMapped 69 financial parameters across descriptive, fundamental, and technical tiers based on investment decision logic.
- PRD / spec writingWrote the full product requirements document for the engineering team.
- Figma prototypeDesigned and delivered Figma prototypes as the dev handoff artifact.
- Stakeholder collaborationWorked with the former CTO of HepsiJet throughout the project.
05 Key Decisions
- Parameter architectureOrganised 69 parameters into three tiers - descriptive, fundamental, and technical - based on how investment decisions are actually made.
- MVP boundarySeparated must-have functionality from later-phase functionality to give engineering a clear starting scope.
- Buildable handoffCreated a Figma prototype as the handoff artifact, not just a written spec, so engineering had a visual reference.

07 What This Proves
- Complex domain logicI can turn complex domain logic into product structure and parameter architecture.
- MVP scopingI can define MVP scope from a broad product idea without overbuilding.
- PRD / spec depthI can create PRD and spec artifacts that give engineering a clear starting point.
- Stakeholder handoffI can deliver a complete handoff even when final build or adoption is not confirmed.
